New look, new products, new faces

Over the next few weeks you will see a lot of exciting changes at BitX.

While we believe that the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency is inevitable, we’re highly committed to building products and services that will accelerate this trend. Over the next few weeks we’ll be rolling out a number of these initiatives, including the new BitX Smart Wallet, which will give the world a glimpse into the future of finance.

We’ve also launched a new BitX website and changed our branding to be more in line with the future we are building:

The name ‘BitX’ has always reflected our long term vision of making money frictionless and universally accessible. Our name is pronounced ‘Bit’ – ‘X’, and both these terms hold significant meaning to our company and our customers.

‘Bit’ refers to Bitcoin and blockchain technology, core aspects of how we plan to achieve our vision. More generally, bits are also the way information is shared over the internet, and we believe that finance will become more like the internet than the financial world we know today. Our brand acknowledges the strong technological aspect of how we are executing our vision.

‘X’ represents many things to us. It represents the future, a variable of the unknown and a world filled with possibilities. It also represents a crossroads of sorts, a place where all of your financial needs are not just met, but anticipated and optimized. As will become more clear with our new product releases, we are in essence building an intelligent financial platform that will revolutionise the way we think about and use money.

We’ve also put a more modern spin on the BitX logo to more accurately reflect our intention of not waiting for things to change, but proactively bringing the future to the present.

Last and certainly not least, we’ll be announcing a number of great new additions to our team over the coming months – all of whom are highly committed to the same BitX vision and ultimately, building products and services that our customers love.
