The story

Skating legend Tony Hawk is to create a custom skatepark for users of The Sandbox to enjoy in the metaverse. The Sandbox is a metaverse project built using the Ethereum blockchain, which allows users to meet up virtually, show off their NFT collectables, do virtual activities, and game together.

In addition to Hawk, The Sandbox has attracted the attention of other famous figures, such as Snoop Dog, and companies like Ubisoft, Addidas and Square Enix.

Hawk is also set to work with Autograph, an NFT platform founded by American footballer Tom Brady. Hawk will create a series of NFTs featuring some of his iconic moments to sell to skaters and NFT fans.
