Educating Malaysian regarding cryptocurrency on Luno.
Why did you choose to become a Luno Educator?
I was always passionate about investing in any instrument and a lot of my friends kept asking me how to start. With Luno Certified Educator program, I have stronger credibility to educate them about crypto and Luno.
How would you define financial literacy?
Financial literacy is a big term covering all financial skills and knowledge. Personally, I would define it as the knowledge of financial management including personal budgeting and investing.
Why should others care about financial literacy?
It is the foundation that helps people on budgeting, planning for retirement and manage debt.
How did you develop your own financial literacy?
I was lucky because I talk a lot with my father during my early life about saving and investing for retirement and since then I have been fascinated with investing. I read and watch YouTube channel that explains about finance, loan and debt management.
What advice do you have for people at the beginning of their crypto journey?
Always start small with money that you can afford to lose. Try to understand the platform such as its fees, limitation and features.
What would you say to somebody who is not sure whether to invest into Bitcoin or not?
Only invest when you are ready and to be ready, keep learning.
