Overview of Litecoin

Litecoin is a cryptocurrency developed by Charlie Lee, a former Google engineer and MIT graduate.

Launched in October 2011, Litecoin was one of the first cryptocurrencies to launch after Bitcoin. It is designed to complement Bitcoin, but solve some of the issues that faced Bitcoin in serving as a global digital payment system – such as fees and transaction times.

In the last 8 years its creator, Lee, has become a leading figure in the industry even collaborating with other crypto experts to create Magical Crypto Friends. (A show on cryptocurrency news where he is known as Chikun).
